FAQ

The questions practices ask us most. If yours is not here, ask us on a call.

It is confirming, before a therapy session, what a patient's plan will actually pay for that visit. That means active coverage on the date of service, which company administers the mental health benefit, the clinician's network status, copay or coinsurance, deductible, prior authorization, visit limits and telehealth rules. Behavioral health needs its own check because many plans hand mental health to a separate administrator such as Optum, Evernorth, Carelon or Magellan, so a standard eligibility check against the medical plan often returns the wrong answer.

Your team verifies reactively, one patient at a time, usually the morning of. We verify your entire upcoming schedule ahead of time and write the full benefit breakdown into your EHR: carve-outs, visit limits, telehealth, cost share and anything that needs a flag. Your team starts the day with it already done.

It checks part of it. Most EHR integrations confirm a plan is active and pull basic eligibility, then stop short of the detail that drives denials: visit limits, prior authorization, telehealth coverage, deductible status and behavioral health carve-outs. We verify that full picture for every upcoming session.

Yes. We work in the EHR you already use, including AdvancedMD, ICANotes, NextGen, PracticeQ, SimplePractice, TheraNest, TherapyNotes and Valant. There is nothing new for your team to learn and no portal to log into.

Commercial plans and the behavioral health carve-outs where benefits really sit: Aetna, Cigna and Evernorth, UnitedHealthcare and Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon, Magellan, and the regional and specialty plans in your market. We also set up Medicare eligibility access with you.

We operate under a signed Business Associate Agreement with your practice before any work begins. Patient information is handled under documented, secure procedures, with access limited to the named people doing the work.

Pricing is based on the size of your practice, with everything included and no per-verification fees. Practices with 5 to 10 clinicians pay a flat $3,250 a month, and the per-clinician rate steps down as you grow. See pricing

Our focus is verification, since that is where a lot of denials begin. Claims, payments and denial follow-up stay with your billing team, and they work from coverage we have already confirmed.

Onboarding is light: a signed BAA, access to your EHR and payer portals, and a short walkthrough of your workflow. Most practices are live within a few weeks, and we run extra quality checks during the first stretch.

We flag it before the visit. Urgent issues like an inactive policy or a required authorization go straight to your team. Routine notes like an unmet deductible are recorded for check-in.

Trained verification specialists, led by a Director of Client Operations with more than eighteen years in revenue cycle and overseen by our CEO and COO. Every verification follows a documented procedure and is reviewed before it reaches your chart. Meet the team
